[From Easter 2023] The 'EQUINE ESCAPES' Package is £150 pppn (min 2 night stay) The 'Equine Escapes' is a bespoke package break where all meals and drinks (with the exception of alcohol) are included and is based on 2 people sharing a twin room.
Where non-riding guests are booking as part of an 'Equine Escape' group, they are also charged at the rate of £150pn in order to benefit from the 'all inclusive' food package.
Check In/Check Out is between 12noon and 2pm.
From January 2023, we will be charging a £100pp non-refundable deposit for the Equine Package. This will secure a booking and is deductible from your first night's stay. Full balances are due 4 weeks prior to your booking date.
Payment can be made via Online Bank Transfer or Paypal.
A full equine package of grazing and full use of all facilities is included daily. Stabling is available on request.
Use of the Hot Tub is £10 pp per stay.
We are completely dog friendly and have actually won awards for it. As a dog loving family (we have two springer spaniels), creating a pleasant environment for our 4 legged visitors is high on our agenda. Visiting dogs are welcome into all areas of the house but we politely request that they do not sleep on the beds. We offer a pet sitting service too.
We are fully insured with the NFU but it is a requirement that all horse riders have their own Public Liability Policy.
Terms & Conditions for Equine Bookings.
By placing a booking with us you and your booking party agree to the following terms and conditions.
To place a booking with us the group leader must be at least 16 years of age. The maximum number of staying guests per booking is 6. Only the group leader and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access at our express permission.
To secure any booking we require a deposit to be paid in advance, this deposit amount is £100 pp. Deposit payments must be 'cleared funds' before a booking can be confirmed. Deposits are non-refundable.
Welcome mails requesting final balance payments will be sent out 6 weeks prior to your stay.
Payments can be made online by digital bank transfer, cash, Paypal or cheque. Any charges raised against us by our banks for handling dishonoured cheques, bank transfers or any other payments, must be reimbursed by the lead guest within seven (7) days of any request to do so.
If you need to change your booking, you may request to transfer to another date within the same calendar year but this is wholly dependent on availability.
Cancellation Policy
We are a small, family run, seasonal business and cancellations can have a serious impact on us. Guests who need to cancel a booking should contact us as soon as possible. Much of our 6 month season is booked in advance with a list of riders waiting for availability. If you think that you may need to cancel, please give us as much notice as possible to allow for the reallocation of your dates.
Full balances (minus Deposits) already paid are returned in accordance with the following conditions:
Cancellation made 28 - 14 days of arrival date = 50% refund Cancellation made 14 - 3 days of arrival date = 25% refund Cancellation made 48hrs or less of arrival date = No refund issued, full amount of booking due.
In the rare event that we need to cancel your booking with us, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of any payment already made.
It is suggested that booking guests take out appropriate holiday / cancellation insurance where required.
